Schools stage many sports days in which children participate in the sporting events. It is usually held in elementary schools. In schools which use a house system a feature of the school is the competition between the houses; this is especially brought out during sporting events such as an inter-house sports day.Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school. Sports themselves have a vital role in making a child sound physically as well as mentally. The whole playground had been decorated with flags, buntings and balloons a day earlier.Fun time with a staff relay and a tug- of- war between the houses added to the enjoyment.
